Deputy Heather Lappin ran an amazing race while enduring attacks from Nanos, who was using his office to silence Heather and other deputies supporting her. She had to put up with Republicans working against her in the general election. Despite all of that, she lost by just 495 votes in a countywide election.
Defending herself from Nanos attacks and needing legal guidance through the recount process, she has legal bills over $20,000. I know a lot of you donated to her campaign, but I need you to step up once again. Not only is it the right thing to do by a woman who stood up to one the biggest bullies in Pima County, but we don't want to discourage future candidates from running in the future.
